An investigation is underway in Indiana after a woman and three children were reportedly found dead in a home on Tuesday.
State police said Wolcottville officers performing a welfare check when they discovered the four bodies. Police said there is no threat to the public even though their investigation is ongoing, according to WPTA.
WSBT reported that an autopsy was performed on Wednesday. The same day, the Noble County coroner identified that four decedents as Rebecca Hughes, 32, Evelyn Newell, 8, Allison Newell, 6, and Amelia Newell, 5.
Though officials have not disclosed how the Hughes and three girls died, a GoFundMe purportedly made by the girls’ father claimed it was a triple-murder suicide.
A toxicology report is pending.
