Sources Say Missing Texas Realtor’s DNA Found on Saw Her Husband Tried to Hide

Law enforcement reportedly has told the family of a missing Texas realtor that her DNA was found on a reciprocating saw her husband tried to hide.

Brad Simpson was indicted earlier this week for the murder of Suzanne Clark Simpson, who disappeared on October 6. The indictment, which came down on Tuesday, charges him with first degree murder, tampering with a corpse, tampering with evidence, and prohibited weapons, KSAT reports.

He was arrested three days after the disappearance on charges of assault-family violence and unlawful restraint.

KSAT said that two sources told the station about the DNA found on the reciprocating saw but did not say who those sources were. KENS reported that family members told them about the DNA on the saw. Investigators have not publicly said they have any evidence directly linking Simpson to his wife’s apparent murder.

According to the indictment, Simpson tried to hide the saw in order to “impair its availability as evidence” on October 8, the day before he was arrested.

Simpson is due in court on Monday.
