Police in Texas have asked for the public’s help in locating a 12-year-old girl who vanished on Sunday.
Alison Ramirez-Lopez was last seen in Irving after she left on foot to attend a birthday party. The Dallas Morning News reported that she never arrived at the party, and 13 hours later, her disappearance was reported to authorities.
Police believe Ramirez-Lopez is in Alabama or a neighboring state. An AMBER Alert has not been issued due to the possibility of her no longer being in Texas.
According to KXAS, Irving police could issue an alert if their investigation indicates Ramirez-Lopez is back in Texas. Officials have not revealed why they believe she left the state.
Ramirez-Lopez was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, and black shoes with pink soles.
