A 22-year-old North Carolina man was arrested Friday after doctors found his 4-week-old son with multiple broken bones.
Kobie Parker is charged with two counts of intentional child abuse with serious bodily injury, WITN reported.
According to an arrest warrant, the infant suffered 10 broken ribs, broken tibias in both legs, and a broken fibula in the right leg.
Greenville Police said the incident occurred on March 3, but they didn’t learn about it until early April, when the baby boy was brought to a medical provider with significant bruising. Further tests uncovered the multiple broken bones.
Details of how Parker hurt the infant were not available.
Parker is being held on a $1 million bond.
