‘Mom Lost 2 Sons on Mother’s Day’ When Texas Man Guns Down Stepbrother

A Texas man has been charged with murder after he allegedly shot his stepbrother to death when he came to take their mother out for a Mother’s Day dinner.

Harris County deputies were called to the scene Saturday night at about 7:30 p.m. and found Eduardo Alfaro Jr., 32, dead from multiple gunshot wounds, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a Facebook post.

Investigators said that Alfaro got into an argument with Charles Storey, 50, and Storey shot him to death, KPRC said.

Deputies found Storey still on the scene and took him custody on a murder charge.

Storey was “possibly” on a “drinking binge,” Gonzalez said.

“What should’ve been a pleasant evening between mother and son, instead turned deadly,” said Gonzalez. “Mom lost two sons on Mother’s Day.”
