14-Year-Old Girl Deemed a ‘Runaway’ Was Actually Killed & Set on Fire by 2 Classmates

Two Florida teens were charged on Thursday, days after they allegedly killed a 14-year-old girl and set her on fire.

Santa Rosa County police said Gabriel Williams, 16, and Kimahri Blevins, 14, lured Danika Troy to a wooded area where they shot her multiple times before dousing her body with gasoline and setting her on fire. According to WEAR, Troy’s mother reported her missing after discovering she and her scooter were unaccounted for.

While Troy was reported as runaway on December 1, her burned body was discovered in Pace the following day.

According Pensacola Journal, a witness claimed Blevins and Williams plotted Troy’s murder.

According to the witness, Blevins said, “The initial plan was to shoot Danika once, but Gabriel continued to shoot. They then burned Danika’s body and left the area.”

Williams allegedly told investigators that Troy made “hurtful comments” to him about being “worthless and a gang-banger” which upset him. Additional details regarding the slaying — specifically Williams’ confession — have been redacted in publicly-available court documents.

Williams and Blevins are charged with premeditated murder.
