DEVELOPING: Body Found in Car Amid Search for Missing Mom, Frezja Baker

On Thursday, North Carolina police found a body in a vehicle possibly connected to a woman who vanished last week.

WSOC-TV reported that a car containing the body was found near a church in Charlotte. The car matches the description of a vehicle belonging to Frezja Baker, 31, who was last seen on December 4.

Baker vanished after being spotted at the Cookout and Quick N E-Z Food Mart, both in Charlotte. She reportedly called family and said she was an hour away, but she never arrived.

The body discovered on Thursday has not been identified, and a cause of death remains unclear, according to WBTV.

Homicide detectives are investigating the scene.
