Vegas Man Charged With His Parents’ Murder

A Las Vegas man has been arrested and charged with the murders of his parents.

Police there said that a 911 call came in Saturday night at about 11:30 from a man who claimed he had killed his parents and wanted to hurt himself. Dispatchers traced to the call to a location on New Brunswick Avenue, and deputies headed there.

As they were en route, the man, later identified as 27-year-old Adrian Bailey, who made the 911 call phoned again from a different location. Deputies quickly found him there and took him into custody.

Officers arrived at the New Brunswick location and found Bailey’s father dead at the scene and his mother seriously wounded. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

Detectives said Bailey beat the parents with an unknown object and fled the home. The parents’ identities have not been released.

He has been charged with two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon and will make an initial court appearance Monday morning, KLAS said.
