Docs: Kentucky Man Eats Kids’ Snacks, Shoots Mom Who Confronted Him

A Kentucky man was arrested Sunday after he shot a woman who confronted him over eating snacks she’d bought for her children.

Louisville Metro Police said they charged 56-year-old Kenneth Beals with assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Court documents say the victim’s aunt saw Beals eating the snacks and told the victim what she’d seen, WDRB reported. She then crossed paths with Beals as she was entering the house and he was leaving and confront him.

“Yes, I ate your snack and it was good,” he reportedly said and then shot her in the arm. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Beals was arraigned on Monday and given a $5,000 bond.
