A Kansas man has been charged with murder in a fatal New Year’s Day stabbing in Johnson County.
Police responded to a home at about 2 a.m. on Thursday after they were called about an armed disturbance, KMBC reported. The caller said that someone had been stabbed.
Police found Jason A. Rosada, 28, on the ground with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead when medics arrived.
Kavin Bryan Moreno, 34, was arrested shortly after the attack and charged with first degree murder.
He has been given a $1 million bond.
Police have not provided any other information about the stabbing.
