A South Carolina man went to his estranged wife’s apartment early Thursday morning and shot dead a man he found there.
Deputies arriving on the scene found Oscar David Barrios Mazariegos, 29, dead from multiple gunshot in his vehicle outside the apartment, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. He had apparently attempted to flee the apartment when gun-wielding Thomas J. Anderson, 35, angrily arrived.
Anderson pursued him and shot him to death, police said.
He’s been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and is awaiting a bond hearing at the Anderson County Detention Center.
