Brother, Sister Found Dead in Florida Convenience Store

Florida police are investigating after a woman and her brother were found dead inside Griffin’s General Store in Apopka Friday night.

Apopka police said they were called to the scene just before 9 p.m.and found the two dead.

“At this time, it is unclear whether the incident involves a homicide or a possible murder-suicide,” police said.

No other information was released.

Investigators declined to release the identities of the two people found, but WESH said the store owner identified them as Schneita Swift and her brother Ezra.

The store owner said that Swift was a former employee but customers and Schneita’s ex-husband told WKMG she was a current employee.

“If you know her, she’s going to lift your spirit up — even her brother. They were good people,”  said Stanley, who described her as his favorite cashier.

“She was a sweet girl. Her brother was a sweet dude. They didn’t bother anyone,” Kizzy Ward, a longtime friend of the family, told WESH. “They were just lovable people.”
