New Video by Savannah Guthrie Was in Response to Second Ransom Note

The second video released by Savannah Guthrie and her siblings reportedly referenced a second note about their mother, which was sent on Friday.

The video featuring Guthrie, her brother, and her sister was released a day after the note was sent to Tucson, Arizona, television station KOLD. Three unidentified officials who are close to the investigation told NBC that authorities are investigating whether the note came from the same place as the first — and whether it was sent by someone connected to Nancy Guthrie’s ongoing disappearance.

According to sources, the Guthrie family is aware of authorities’ ongoing efforts to investigate the notes and the case overall. The contents of the second note have not been disclosed to the public.

“We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay,” Savannah Guthrie said in the video released on Instagram on Saturday.
