‘Got What She Deserves’: Convicted Felon Guns Down Girlfriend for Alleged Cheating

An Ohio man proclaimed himself judge, jury, and executioner last week when he shot and killed his girlfriend for allegedly cheating on him.

Jaime Dick, 33, “got what she deserved,” Jayme Rogers told dispatchers when he called 911 after shooting Dick three times, an affidavit says.

Rogers, 34, is charged with murder, felonious assault, and weaopns charges, WHIO reports.

Rogers called 911 about 2 a.m. Tuesday morning, telling dispatchers to “get here quick, someone is shot,” adding that his girlfriend was the one shot and he was the one who shot her, the affidavit says.

“When Dayton Police officers arrived on scene, Mr. Rogers walked out to officers and repeated that he shot her,” court documents state.

Dick was found inside a running building outside her home. She was taken to a hospital, where she died.

The court documents say that Rogers wasn’t permitted to possess any weapons because of a previous conviction.

He was given a $1 million bond and ordered to return to court on February 20, according to Law&Crime. Court records show previous drug convictions in Montgomery County.

Dick was the mother of two children, an obituary says.
