Alabama police have asked for the public’s help in locating a possible kidnapping victim who has been missing for more than a year.
Ronald Dumas Jr., 37, was last seen at a Huntsville liquor store with two women in December 2025. In July, police said their missing person investigation had shifted to an abduction investigation, as they had identified five suspects in his disappearance.
Sabrina Chambers and Kalisha McKinnie were reportedly the two women spotted with Dumas at the liquor store before his disappearance. McKinnie was found dead in Memphis, Tennessee, of a suspected drug overdose a month later. Chambers, who is considered a suspect, remains unaccounted for.
The other four suspects are Quintarius White, 32; Toure McLaurin, 33; Kierra Clark, 27; and Carissa Cash, 33. Clark and White were arrested in April, while Cash is also missing.
Investigators believe White ran prostitutes, including McKinnie and Chambers. They also suspect Dumas went with McKinnie and Chambers to Chambers’ apartment in Huntsville. Though it is not entirely clear what transpired in the apartment, police believe Dumas paid McKinnie and White arrived at some point.
According to WHNT, investigators said Clark and White thought they could get Dumas’ bank information. They allegedly also plotted to take Dumas to Memphis.
A day after his disappearance, Dumas’ vehicle was found in Camden, Tennessee, 200 miles from Huntsville. Dumas’ phone last pinged about 60 miles from where his car was located.
A day after Dumas’ went missing, police said Clark texted White about torturing Dumas for his bank information and discarding his phone.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information in this case. Anyone with information regarding Dumas’ whereabouts is asked to call investigator Stephen Gibbs at 256-427-5448.
Dumas’ case is being covered as part of CrimeOnline’s “Finding the Lost: Black and Missing” series, which will feature a missing Black person every day in February. The full series can be read here.
