Los Angeles County detectives have asked for the public’s help in locating a suspect in the apparent murder of a 40-year-old woman found shot to death last month in the city of Lake Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the body of Elana “Rae” Kazanes was found in a field near 140th Street East and East Avenue E on February 19.
KCBS said she suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
