On Tuesday, Texas police reportedly arrested a registered sex offender who was caught loitering around a school while in possession of condoms and children’s toys.
An Itasca police officer stopped Cecil Forcey, 31, after allegedly spotting him walking back and forth in a school zone. Police discovered Forcey with the condoms and toys on him after identifying him as a sex offender who had failed to register with city or county authorities, according to KWKT.
Forcey has a prior conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child. He reportedly returned to the area after being released from prison a year earlier. Records indicated that he is listed as a “moderate” sex offender who is required to register for life.
Forcey, who was arrested without incident, is charged failing to comply with a sex offender’s duty to register for life. KWKT reported that his bond was set at $900,000.
