UPDATE: 9-Year-Old Autistic Girl Found Dead in Pond After Daylong Search

Hamilton County Underwater Search and Recovery reportedly discovered Din’s body in a pond not far from her home on Saturday night. The pond was searched on Friday, the day Din disappeared, but she was not located at that time.

Kentucky authorities have asked for the public’s help in locating a missing 9-year-old girl who vanished on Friday.

Jenny Din is believed to have wandered off in Florence without shoes. A large-scale search for Din took place on Saturday, and Boone County police said the case has been transferred to its Criminal Investigations Division, according to WXIX.

Din is non-verbal and has autism. She was last seen wearing  a mint-blue jacket with no shoes and pink headphones.
