A 29-year-old New Hampshire man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his sister and her friend.
Londonderry Police said they were called to the home just before 9 p.m. Sunday night and found the two victims outside “suffering from multiple stab wounds.”
Bystanders and the officers treated the victims before arrival of medics and police contacted the suspect, identified as Chandler Walden, who had gone inside.
Chandler Walden was arrested without incident and charged with multiple counts of assault and attempted murder.
Court documents say Walden attacked the two women — one of them his sister — with a hatchet and a steak knife, WMUR reported. The documents said that Walden and his sister had been arguing earlier before she left the home. She and her friend returned later that evening and found Walden walking around the house spraying Febreze.
At that point, the documents say, he attacked them while yelling, “After all the years of abuse, it ends tonight. I’m going to end this tonight.”
The women were taken to local hospitals in serious condition; their families say they’ll be OK.
Walden was denied bond.
