BREAKING: Missing 11-year-old boy Aiden Blanchard found dead in Connecticut River

Authorities in Massachusetts have positively identified a body found earlier this week as missing 11-year-old Aidan Blanchard.

According to MassLive, Hampden County officials have confirmed that the Chicopee boy’s body was found in the Connecticut River Wednesday. Blanchard had been missing since February 5, when he went for a walk, and was last seen near Medina Street Boat Ramp at the Connecticut River.

Police divers found the body late Wednesday morning as part of their ongoing search for the missing boy, which had been hampered by unfavorable weather conditions.
