Missing NJ College Student Found at Wendy’s by Cop’s Wife

A New Jersey community college student who’d been missing since Wednesday was found Friday evening at a Wendy’s just 10 miles from where she disappeared.

Morgan Panzer, 19, left her backpack and phone in the Bergen Community College Cafeteria in Paramus on Wednesday morning and walked away, as CrimeOnline previously reported.

Her father, Richard Panzer, told Daily Voice that Morgan was seen at least twice on Thursday and was at one point “approached by a man who let her know she was being looked for. She said she was going home and walked away.”

A family member told Daily Voice around 5:30 p.m. Friday that Morgan was “OK” and “heading to Clara Maas Medical Center” in Bellevue to be checked out. He said that a police officer’s wife spotted her at the fast food restaurant.

As previously reported, Morgan Panzer reportedly left a note on her phone that she was going to be gone for three weeks and not to look for her. Her father also said that several apps that she frequently used to communicate with friends had been deleted.

Her parents both said it was unlike their daughter to do anything like this and feared she might be with someone.
