Suspect Jailed for Killing of TikTok Star Mama Tot’s 18-Year-Old Son

Alabama police have arrested a suspect in the June shooting death of a Mobile-area TikTok star’s son.

Randon Lee, 18, was shot to death on June 24 inside his car at a gas station in Prichard, as CrimeOnline previously reported. Prichard police said at the time that it appeared Lee was selling marijuana at the gas station, and one of his customers got into his car and shot him.

The shooter got back into his car with other suspects and drove away; Lee drove to another gas station where paramedics unsuccessfully tried to save him.

Lee’s mother is TikTok star Mama Tot, known as “Shoelover99” on the social media platform. She wrote a few days after Lee’s death, asking supporters not to “think badly of my son for the circumstances of how he was taken.”

“We are not ashamed of him, and never will be,” she said. “When I was 18, I made poor choices myself.”

Court documents show that 20-year-old Reuben Thomas Gulley Jr. turned himself in Thursday afternoon. A warrant for his arrest on a murder charge was issued on August 4, AL.com reported.
