Body Found in Search of Dad Who Missed Daughter’s First Christmas

Police said on Thursday that they believe they found the body of a man who went missing in Virginia last month.

Jose Guerrero’s body was apparently discovered in a wooded area in Prince George’s County, Maryland, after a suspect in his slaying  told police where it was located. A 17-year-old boy and Olvin Daniel Argueta Ramirez, 19, have been charged with Guerrero’s murder.

Guerrero was reportedly last seen leaving his home in Prince William County, Virginia, on December 21. Police reportedly found his car two days later in Woodbridge, less than a mile-and-a-half away from where he went missing, as CrimeOnline previously reported. The missing man’s girlfriend previously told local media that the car was covered in blood.

According to WUSA, police believe Guerrero and the suspects had arranged a drug deal on December 21 which turned violent. Guerrero was reportedly stabbed during the transaction, and the suspects allegedly drove his body to Maryland, where they dumped it.

Police say they have also recovered the murder weapon.

Jailed without bond, Ramirez is charged with second-degree murder and stabbing in the commission of a felony. The juvenile suspect is charged with robbery and murder.
