California Party Mom: Internet Search History Revealed of Woman Who Allegedly Threw Underage Sex Parties

Prosecutors have disclosed the alleged internet search history of the California mom accused of hosting underage sex parties at her mansion, where victims say she got them drunk and watched while they were raped, KRON-TV reports.

Recent court filings show Shannon O’Connor allegedly searched the internet for material involving minors, including searches for “Good books with young sex,” “hot 16 (year) old teenage girls” and “prettiest 16 year old girl,” according to the television station.

Investigators discovered the alleged searches on a phone belonging to O’Connor. The device also revealed that the 48-year-old downloaded videos from social media allegedly depicting minor females.

“The videos show young girls who appear to be underage. They are dressed in revealing clothing. There is no evidence that the girls in these videos were personally known to defendant,” the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office wrote in a court document, according to KRON-TV.

O’Connor is facing 39 charges related to allegations that she hosted parties at her home in Los Gatos and elsewhere in the region in 2020 and 2021, including for her teenaged sons. Prosecutors allege that O’Connor got attendees drunk and “facilitated sexual encounters” between them, some of which may not have been consensual.

Girls ranging in age from 13 to 15 years old have testified they were sexually assaulted by boys while drunk and that O’Connor watched the assaults.

The government alleges that O’Connor took an active role in deciding which girls would be invited to the parties, and that “She would reject girls as guests by saying they weren’t ‘pretty enough’ or didn’t ‘put out,’” court documents allege, according to KRON-TV.

O’Connor’s husband, Robert Amaral, has said he did not know about the parties and that they occurred while he was away. Amaral is seeking a divorce from O’Connor.

Many of the victims say they now suffer from depression, anxiety and PTSD, in addition to various emotional and physical symptoms. At least one victim has alleged that O’Connor stalked her physically and through her phone and social media.

O’Connor remains in jail pending trial on charges of sexual battery, child endangerment, child molestation and furnishing alcohol to a person under 21 years of age. She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 6.
