Casey Anthony Pushing Reality Series About Her Life After Murder of Toddler Daughter

Casey Anthony, who many people believe got away with killing her toddler daughter Caylee Anthony in 2008, is pitching a reality television program about her life.

The proposal promises “an intimate window into the daily life of one of the most controversial women in America,” The New York Post reported.

The show would be filmed in Florida, where Anthony lives, and would follow the 37-year-old “monster mom” 13 years after she was acquited in the murder of 2-year-old Caylee Anthony.

“In each episode, Casey will go about her day — working, socializing, dating. She will share her thoughts and opinions, and will give an intimate look into her world,” the proposal says.

Anthony would be credited as executive producer as well as star of the program.

One network executive told the Post the show was “a losing bet.”

“It would get a large audience initially, but what’s really that interesting about her life? Plus the backlash would be huge,” he said. “Not worth it.”

The executive said, however, that he hoped someone would buy it because he wanted to watch it.

A Florida jury acquited Anthony all charges — except lying to a police — in 2011.

For months in 2008, Anthony lied to police, claiming she left her little girl with a nanny who turned out to be fictional. Caylee’s remains were eventually found on December 11, 2008, buried near the Orlando home of Anthony’s parents, as CrimeOnline previously reported. She has maintained her innocence since she was first arrested and has periodically popped into the public eye.

She gave an interview to the Associated Press in 2017, insisting that she didn’t kill Caylee and that she didn’t care about her bargain basement reputation.

“I don’t give a sh– about what anyone thinks about me, I never will,” she sid. “I’m OK with myself; I sleep pretty good at night.”

Five years later, she gave in on camera interview for a Peacock documentary, “Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies.” She blamed her father, George Anthony, for the toddler’s death. George Anthony repeatedly denied any involvement and was never charged with anything related to the death.
