Billionaire Slack Founder’s Daughter Missing in San Francisco

Billionaire tech entrepreneur Stewart Butterfield’s 16-year-old daughter has been reported missing in San Francisco.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office said Mint Butterfield has run away and is believed to be headed for San Francisco’s gritty and artsy Tenderloin district, KRON reported.

“This is a missing child whom we now believe to be in or around the Tenderloin neighborhood here in San Francisco. If you see Mint Butterfield … or have information about her whereabouts, please contact the phone number (415-569-0003),” San Francisco Supervisor Matt Dorsey wrote on Twitter.com.

Mint is described as 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with reddish brown, curly hair and eyebrow piercings.She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, flannel pajama pants, and black boots. She may be carrying a gray suitcase, the sheriff’s office said.

Stewart Butterfield and his ex-wife, Caterina Fake, founded Flickr and sold it to Yahoo for $25 million in 2005. Butterfield went on to found Slack and sold it to Salesforce for $27.7 billion in 2021. Butterfield stayed on at the company for a year and a half before departing.
