New York Gov Andrew Cuomo “ridiculed and belittled” wife Kerry Kennedy while the two were married, according to Michael Shnayerson, who wrote an unauthorized biography of the Democratic politician in 2015. Writing in Vanity Fair magazine, Schnayerson quoted unnamed sources saying that Kennedy complained about “enduring this abuse” from her husband and even once slept in a locked bathroom to keep away from him.
